Rwamagana District Signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Changsha County
On 1st July 2023, Rwamagana District in the Eastern Province signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Changsha county in Hunan Province, establishing a sister city partnership. The Rwamagana District was represented by the Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda to China during the signing.
The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the 3rd China-Africa Economic Trade Expo, which was held in Changsha from June 29th to July 2nd, 2023.
The signed Memorandum aims to enhance economic collaboration between the two sides, focusing on various areas, including industrial development, investment, trade, tourism, education, agriculture, and science & technology.
Rwanda and China maintain smooth and steady relations that were established 52 years ago. This event serves as another important milestone that reflects the strong bond between the two countries.
